Coffee Time On the Road - Roy's California -
This photograph was taken along the long American roads, in the Mojave Desert in California. A few miles from Arizona and Nevada... When we stopped, there was not a living soul around us, an incredible silence under the already overwhelming desert sun. This place is a sacred photographic spot but also cinematographic, Anthony Hopkins and Harrison Ford came to Roy's. Brad Pitt also filmed here (Kalifornia 1993), in Amboy. Timothy White , a renowned New York photographer saw value in keeping the property in a worn, weathered state as a filming location. Music groups like Queens of the Stone Age have filmed music videos in Amboy, among others...

Liberty Enlightening The World - La liberté éclaire le monde -
Welcome to the United States !

- Beetle On The Road - Pacific Coast Highway, California.
This photograph was taken on the Pacific coast south of the city of San Francisco. We took the 17-Mile Drive which runs along the ocean to the city of Los Angeles.
San Francisco, Monterey, Carmel by the Sea, Santa Barbara…
Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary stretches nearly 300 miles long. Offshore, the ocean hides the immense Monterey Underwater Sanctuary.
The rugged coastline is lined with cypress trees, including the famous Lone Cypress, which served as a model for the master photographer, Edward Weston .
The city of Carmel is home to a chic bohemian scene. Clint Eastwood was its mayor for a long time. The Friends of Photography organization has organized no fewer than 330 photography exhibitions in its galleries in Carmel and San Francisco.

Palm Trees at Sunset Zabriskie Point Desert, California.
This photograph was taken in the northern Mojave Desert of California, within Death Valley National Park, about a hundred miles northwest of the city of Las Vegas. It appears in the distance like a mirage... The desert is 86 meters below sea level, it has the hottest and driest climate in North America. What a stunning landscape, a breathtaking panorama as far as the eye can see! Deep canyons, seas of sand, gaping craters, gigantic dunes and salt lakes... This vast lunar landscape, eaten away by the years, reminds us how small we are here! A very inspiring place from a photographic point of view.

Grand Canyon National Park, a masterpiece shaped by nature and the elements - Arizona.
The Grand Canyon was carved by the force of the Colorado River, which flows 1,500 meters below. It rises in the Rocky Mountains and flows into the Gulf of California after traveling 2,330 km… I'll let you imagine! This remarkable site is an open book for geologists, a paradise for photographers because of its splendor, its light, its shapes and its colors! We could spend hours contemplating this masterpiece that nature offers us, amazed by the immensity. It is one of the most extraordinary parks in the United States.
It is also one of the most visited parks in the world...
The Grand Canyon and all classified American national parks are more than ever in danger.

Bryce Canyon National Park, Utah.
Utah is a state in the western United States, its capital is Salt Lake City. The city takes its name from the large salt lake located 27 miles to the northwest.
Southern Utah is a land of astonishing and unparalleled beauty. Spectacular and unique in the world with its snow-capped peaks, its imposing orange sandstone formations sculpted by erosion into bridges, arches or chimneys of fairies, "Hoodoos". A real playground for photographers...
Bryce Canyon National Park is 145km² in size. Its geological formations composed of colorful rocks are tens of millions of years old. We will wonder for a long time how nature created a masterpiece of work like this! We then drove along the Paria Canyon-Vermillion Ciffs desert where the gradient of the rock from red to white is like a painting. This place is known around the world for "The wave".

Yosemite National Park, California.
Yosemite National Park is located in the state of California and extends on the western slopes in the center of the Sierra Nevada mountain range. This park covers an area of more than 302,000 ha, more than 3000 km²… I let you imagine! Yosemite is world-renowned for its imposing granite cliffs, waterfalls, rivers, lakes, mountains, giant sequoias, glaciers... The park's two characteristic rocks: Half Dome , granite dome on one side the transparent face while the other three sides are smooth and rounded, which gives the impression that it is cut in two! The second El Capitan, located on the north side of the valley , the granite monolith stands vertically, 1,254m above the canyon floor. This makes it one of the most popular challenges in the world in the world of extreme sports, particularly climbing. The last climber to have realized his dream on June 3, 2017 by climbing El Capitan in full solo, without rope or any form of belaying is the American Alex Honnold! He will forever mark the world of climbing by his feat. We brought him luck! Yosemite is also famous for its high concentration of waterfalls. Yosemite Falls is the highest in North America. Yosemite Falls plunges 2,400 feet in two leaps. What a site remarkable, extraordinary viewpoints! Breathtakingly beautiful! The landscape lends itself freely to the photographer's eye: the bouncing of light, the effervescence of water, the stoic mountain lines... A natural source of inspiration endless.
"Never, at any season of the year, in any country, have I seen clouds have a more brilliant, more sharp, more rocky appearance, more varied forms, more acute contours. » John Muir .
