San Francisco is in the north of the state of California. The fourth city of the United States.
San Francisco is known for its cutting-edge economic and technological hub: Silicon Valley. It is home to the headquarters of world giants such as Google, Apple, Facebook, Microsoft and others, as well as NASA research centers. Top graduates from major universities come to work in Silicon Valley.
San Francisco also attracts the world's attention for its spirit of tolerance. We all have the song in our heads by Scott McKenzie ... Today, San Francisco is the most expensive city on the continent, inaccessible to the populations that made it famous at the time. Poverty is also very present there.
The Alomo Square district, with its magnificent Victorian houses nicely nicknamed the Painted ladies is certainly the most popular district. Many magnificent bookstores and CD shops are present there. It is good to stroll in the park and to photograph the colorful houses with in the background, the buildings. A very beautiful shot representing the Victorian era and the new generation.
The streets and boulevards of San Francisco are very steep, which gives an additional charm to the city. Lombard Street , is made up of eight very tight turns! Such a beautiful landscape perfumed by the flower beds that line the block.
You mean the subway in San Francisco? Here they call it the Cable car , a kind of tram. The station stands at the corner of Market Street. A small crowd waits patiently to board this wagon-like machine lovingly maintained by the city of which it is the emblem.
After the fog clears, there's nothing like a little sailboat trip on the San Francisco Bay and admiring the most famous suspension bridge in the world, The Golden Gate Bridge ! We were also able to admire the dolphins on the bay as well as the Californian sea lions... A real pleasure to be able to photograph them and take the time to observe them.
What a beautiful city! Amazing. Love San Francisco...
